Difference between "like" and "such as"

Like
"Like" is used to say something resembles something else. Note that "like" as verb is used in the sense of desire.
  • He runs like a rabbit.

Such as
"Such as" is used to give an example of something.
  •  I like to eat fruits such as apple and mango.
